The Principal As An Executive Supervisor Of A School

The principal is a professional leader. In a school situation where instruction is a means of transmitting knowledge and information worthwhile to pupils, by the teachers. The principal of the school holds the key position in the programme of instructional improvement through supervision of instruction.

This paper examines a child as a person who is below the age of adulthood in relation to the principal as the chief executive officer of his/her school and is responsible and accountable for what happens in the school. The library research method was adopted in this research. This paper recommends that there should be effective conduct of school activity such as maintenance of order and discipline, which is part of the administrative leadership task of the school head to enable sustainable school improvement.
