Dr. Donathan Brown is the Vice Provost for Faculty Diversity at Northeastern University, USA. He works collaboratively with the Office of Academic Affairs and academic deans to lead, envision, and implement proactive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in support of Northeastern University’s strategic diversity action plans. His work and insight along these lines have been featured in two recent books, including: “Academic Pipeline Programs: Diversifying Pathways from the Bachelor’s to the Professoriate.” In addition, he has been cited in Inside Higher Education and U.S. News. Dr. Brown earned his PhD from Texas A&M University.

Dr. Yul Chu holds the position of Full Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada in 2001, and his MS in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University in 1995. His research interests focus on various areas, including low-power embedded systems, high performance computing, parallel processing, cluster and high-available architectures, computer networking, digital system design, and more.
